How to spread the word
If your principal allows it, it is very helpful to email all of the school parents directly.
If you can have the principal forward your welcome email to parents, that’s even better – parents are more likely to read an email from the principal. This is also a great way to show that your parent-led initiative has the support of the administration, lending it greater legitimacy.
In addition, we recommend sharing the message in the weekly newsletter that your school emails to all the parents, if your school has such a newsletter.

If you know of other parents who feel the same way you do, ask them if you can add their names to the signature line of the welcome email – the more, the better (and also make sure the date of the call-out meeting works for them).
